Nick also works as an Academic Coach for an independent educational consulting firm, working with college students across the country. He earned a B.A. in Legal Studies and Education from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, an M.Ed in Elementary and Special Education from Westfield State University, a Post-Masters Certificate in Post-Secondary Education and Disability Services from the University of Connecticut, and is currently completing his doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) with a focus on higher education at the University of Hartford.

In his free time, he loves watching and playing basketball, going to concerts, and playing guitar and bass. He is a diehard fan of all New England sports and wishes the Hartford Whalers still existed. Nick also plays in a rock band called GreenHouse that frequently plays shows throughout the Northeast.
