“FExpo” is an exhibition of innovative semester projects by First-Year Engineering Students enrolled in ENGR 1166, Foundations of Engineering course in the Spring Semester. Students formulate and build creative designs for Wind Turbines, Water Filtration, Spacesuits, Bridges, and Hot Air Balloons! The Expo is open to all students and faculty across the University.

In the Spring of 2024, students in ENGR 1166 embarked on a brand-new project to design a futuristic Solar-Powered Martian Habitat that featured multidisciplinary and multilevel teamwork.
