Young Innovative Investigator Program (YIIP) 
An exciting research opportunity through The Connecticut Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (CICATS) at the University of Connecticut.
YIIP provides academic training to underrepresented minority students who are dedicated to pursuing careers in biological and biomedical science while increasing the pipeline among the pool of academic scientists. By fulfilling the program requirements, YIIP Scholars will acquire the expertise to become a competitive candidate to enter a MD, MD-PhD or PhD program.
