EUROTECH

Eurotech, launched in 1993, currently has over 100 students in the program. Students study at a variety of universities in the state of Baden-Württemberg. These include the Universities of Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Tubingen, Freiburg, Mannheim, Konstanz, Ulm, Karlsruhe and Hohenheim. During the fall semester of their fourth year, students study German language and culture intensively at their university and during the spring they pursue high level internships at companies like Porsche, Bosch, Mercedes, Merck, Trumpf, MTU Aero Engines, etc. Students are prepared to apply for their internships, participate in interviews, and work as engineers in Germany. Most internships are paid.

The Eurotech program includes a Living Learning Community in the Werth Residence Tower. Students also benefit from a host of professional development activities before they ever leave for Germany through the Eurotech Club. These activities include company tours, alumni guest lectures, and movie nights.
